Re: Strike A Pose

You know this one is good. Don't you. LOL. I really like how the statues are looking at the lady. Great work.

How long did you have to stake out the store for this?

Re: Strike A Pose

Excellent title for an excellent photograph. The pedestrian has really struck a pose indeed and has attracted the attention of the ladies in the windows. The position and body language of the window viewer might suggest that something caught her eye as she was about to pass by which means that Tuna was really on the ball here.

Re: Strike A Pose

Greg, Paul, Tom - thank you.

Paul - I have very little patience for waiting for a shot...I'm so easily distracted. This was seen and shot as I walked by the scene.

Re: Strike A Pose

So it really is a great moment.
I pictured in my mind you stalking these locations, looking for the right person, or the right pose, and watching people walk on who didn't stop and look, or who weren't dresses just right for the scene.

Re: Strike A Pose

Did you crop this to compose or is this SOOC? Your blocks at the top of the three arches are close enough to perfect and your verticals are vertical, and the incline at the sidewalk it very interesting -- but that's not the first thing I saw -- the scene is most interesting!
