Fruit

Here is picture I took after eating breakfast...



Playing a bit with capture nx2:
The table brightness was reduced slightly , also the wall on the top right corner
Corrected some spots on the pears and yellow apple
increased the saturation of the orange on the papaya

Light is natural from the window + the lamp over the table

F8
35mm
1/10 of a sec with VR on
ISO 200

For some reason it's really not working for me.
however don't get me wrong there seems to be something off.

Nice range of color and texture, exposure is pretty good too, but it seems a bit "flat" even for a still life. seems like there should be more range of shape, more up and down. It's a good shot, it's just missing the "wow" factor.
