Re: Lake View
What an unusual and very attractive composition for us to look at. The red of the little house and the reds in the grass of the "foreground" are great. I like that the lake is not dominated by a huge sky and cloud reflection. There is a purity and cleanliness about the place and it's all a picture of health.

Re: Lake View
Really amazing vantage point and framing here. Very creative idea. I wish there was something in the lake. but awesome shot nevertheless.

Re: Lake View
The lonliness and still waters make the shot along with the reflection of the clouds. Nice scene.

Re: Lake View
Tuna,
Very intelligent composition tools here. There is nothing simple about this photograph at all. I have mixed feelings about what improvements something in the water would add to this photo. It might end up ruining the composition by drawing attention to the water.
It's been a LOOOOONG time since I thought to myself "I wonder if a polarizer would allow me to see far enough into the water". It looks like maybe it's somewhat shallow and that there is some green to be seen in the water.
After viewing the photo and thinking about it for a bit. I'd really love to see this same shot but with less reflection in the water so that the contrast between water and the rest of scene is less. If there were detail to be seen beneath the water I think that would elevate this shot much further.
Thanks for sharing! This is a very creative one!

Re: Lake View
Great shot, Tuna. It takes a good eye for the unusual to get a shot like this (or at least crop to it). The best part is the little house in the distance ..
