A very sad photograph because that little boy is turning to look back at something or someone for the very last time. Extremely thought provoking. It works very strongly on this level.
If there are any technical flaws, well I'm not bothered.

I have a total lack of respect for anything connected with society, except that which makes the roads safer, the beer stronger, the food cheaper, and the old men and old women warmer in the winter and happier in the summer. Brendan Behan
OverBeyond is dead on about this picture being sad. Somthing about that lil boy lookin back just makes me wanna give him a hug and tell him its goin to be ok. Its a great picture. Everything that a good picture is, thought provoking, emotional, it really makes you care about the subject.

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, martini in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming WOO HOO what a ride!
Excellent (but what else do you expect from Tuna?). Actually, I think the so-called flaws in the image are what makes it. The eye immediately soars over the confusion of metal and zeroes in on the little boy's sad face. That's what it's all about. In that sense, they aren't flaws at all, but integral to the composition.
Hi Tuna,
The photo has a very cinematic feeling. I can imagine the boy is away from his family to a boarding school and his mom and dad are waving to him while his dog is chasing the car.
Very intriguing!
