    Seeing Double

First time I've seen a full rainbow, and for an added bonus, there were two of them! We must have seen eight rainbows that day. The storm clouds were to our south all day, the sun was to the north and we were right in the middle.Taken at a stop off of the Great Ocean Road in Australia.

Thank you both! Yea, as we were walking off the beach the 2nd one started to appear, so I definitely had to run back.

    Re: Seeing Double

    Wow... that's terrific!

Lovely composition with that rock in the center. Excellent catch and execution with the limited time and foreground elements you had to work with (I'm assuming).

    Re: Seeing Double

Thank you Loupey and swarzakguy! Yes there were only a few minutes from the time the 2nd one showed up until some clouds moved in to block the sun which made both disappear.

    Re: Seeing Double

This image is hands down the nicest rainbow image I have ever seen! We chose it last week, but the POTW wasn't updated due to a office move or something. WE made sure that we re-submitted this simply amazing image because it definately deserves the POTW:thumbsup:

    Re: Seeing Double

A well deserved FP indeed. We weren't going to let this one pass by.

Print it as large as you can and hang it. A shot to be proud of
