The Life Of The Party

I went to a photo club BBQ today. This little guy was all the entertainment I needed. The tree trunk behind was unavoidable...., what can I say?!

Re: The Life Of The Party

Knight,

Thanks very much for leaving the comment. I was approx., 5 feet, with loads of direct sunlight. Helped with the faster shutter speed for stopping the action.

Thanks again.

Lovely shots but that last one is a winner.

Re: The Life Of The Party

I agree...The 4th shot is the one.~ The bokeh is splendid as well. I think image 3 would look great as a select crop of the bird, some great diag.orange flower framing the lower right. Just my thoughts.
It's amazing to see the dynamics of the wing in image 3.

Very nice work CF,

Rick

Rick,

Coming from one who has had so many of his own Feature Photos, I really appreciate the kind words. Thanks.

Not as much as I appreciate you contributing such wonderful images!

Shhh, I am flying solo for a few weeks, but I am 100% positive Loupey would agree with my choice.

That must have been a really fast shutter speed...

Re: The Life Of The Party

Congrats on the well deserved feature. However, you may consider adding a chainsaw to your arsenal. Even though, you still have some beauties.
