Nope. If I was thinking like I should've been, I would've ducked like I was supposed to

Re: Post your racin wrecks

I'll come out an play with:

Sea Otter Log Jump

Fontana DH Race

CCCX DH Race

Nationals DH Practice

Fontana DH Race, While not anything special, I like the expression of the spectator

No one was really hurt from these, but I imagine that a lot of ice was used after.

Take enough bike race photos and the crashes come to you, if fact you need to keep a sharp eye out to avoid being hit.

Regards
Rick

You got some good captures there Rick!

Where is Fontana at? Isn't near San Luis Obispo or something like that?

Re: Post your racin wrecks

Wrecks from my seat during the 2008 50th annual Daytona 500 .

#1 Shooting the leader board for a reference shot and what...he hits the wall.
#2 David Ragan stopping just past my seat after the wreck in #1 on lap 163
#3 Casey Mears off the wall on lap 173
#4 48 Jimmy Johnson and 1 Martin Truex Jr tangle on lap 187

69 laps of green flag racing and then the wrecks just kept on coming. What an awesome race... even though I was disappointed to watch my driver get passed on the last lap and end up finishing 3rd.

Re: Post your racin wrecks

I never get to see wrecks because I shoot in the pits, but I have managed to get a series of a crew member crashing......I felt bad but couldnt help but continue shooting.....I hope this counts and he does get right back up and keeps on truckin'!

Re: Post your racin wrecks

ASALMS at O'Reilly Raceway Park Saturday April 26th.

This incident occurred on lap 164 of tonights race and the #11 of Peter Cozzolino finished 3rd even after getting sandwiched between the 21 and 40 cars. In fact, Peter was so lucky his car was the only one from this mess to continue. Peter set a track record of 21.600 (114.195MPH) in qualifying. Adter the race he said "it pushed a bit more after that".

John, Rubbin is racin... Why is the window net down on the 21 car on your first picture (I'm under the impression they are still moving I might be wrong).

Re: Post your racin wrecks

There "almost done wreckin" and apparently he's been there done that, and one thing I know from experience is gettin booted in the rear like he did is you get the net out of the way in case you have to bail quick.... but then again I have seen the nets come loose after a hin the rear like that too. It doesn't happen often but it happens.
Ohhh, and this was more than ribbin.....

Nope, too busy in the pits, garage area and Sarah Fishers suite
but I did get the one wreck I didn't want to see today.... a series of 40 frames of it to boot.
