    Attention needed

Wee bit of TLC and it will be as good as new.
    Maybe...

Isn't it a cool thing in nature that the colours never seem to clash...

    Re: Attention needed

The noise/grain seems to be a bit "over the top" but the conversion is good and the composition is very nicely done.

    Re: Attention needed

I like the subject and your framing and composition is just right. If you added the grain, it seems a little rough and blotchy in the sky and perhaps a bit much.
    Love the photo.

    Re: Attention needed

Tanks Jet and Gary , thoughts about grain noted , for some reason it seems to look worse when posted than it did while doing the PP work. Sky was a bit bland and blown out, so must have pushed it a bit hard to get some texture.

If they attended to it, it wouldn't be so photogenic.
    I agree about the grain.

    Re: Attention needed

You can't really decide on something like the grain by what you see here in a compressed web version. How it prints is more important. However, it might help to have a slightly modified version for web display that will look more like what it would in a print.

    Re: Attention needed

    Hmm.

I really like fences, esp ones like this which have personality. I think the vanishing pt is sort of blocked by the tree. The grain/distortion in the sky I am debating: looks artistic in a way, but it is also distracting and out of place with the rest of the image. Try a graduated ND filter. Finally, the angle you shot it at where top of the fence almost equals the horizon .. I don't know if this works or not. Perhaps it's a bit shot-from-normal-height (5- 6 feet high), although in this situation that might have been the best thing to do.
