Lou - The subjects are dynamic in their own ways. The buildings are exciting because they're under construction and, what the heck, it's VEGAS! The fighter jet is obviously doing some zipping.

What I think they both need though is some sort of discriminator to make them stand out. Some punchline if I must use that word. The buildings must also be more technically sound. There's really no reason to have a static subject like that so blurry.. Next time, use a tripod, a VR lens, or even place the camera on a structure and use the self timer to stabilize. Also, I might have shot it a little earlier in the morning so to create more mood.

Re: My morning in Las Vegas

I find the first one interesting enough. I like the blue of the sky and the reflection of the sky on the left building. I like the yellow building and its artificial lighting. What I don't like is the way-too-bright floodlight on the left and the lower lights on the building, IMO, are a little blown out. I would like to see a sharper focus (I'm having the same trouble). I think a person in that empty foreground would have been a bonus.

I would love to feel the G's in the second photo!
