50mm f/1.8mm II

Hello I found this little 50mm f/1.8 II lens I was wondering if it will fit with 550D Canon I will be using this for indoor photography and this will be my first lens apart from the standard lens that comes with Canon 550D.

also was wondering if this is a good choice and worth of buying because I dont wanna waste my money if its not good.
