I do most of my photography in very bright light and generally pretty hot and humid conditions and a recurring problem for me is being unable to see properly (focus properly)through the viewfinder as there is so much 'ambient' light entering the viewfinder - i guess this may also cause a problem for the sensor?? I am using a D300 and a D200 and have bought some +/- 22mm rubber eyecups but these are still not a complete cure. I have been looking at getting the DG-2 eyepiece but before spending $65 I thought i'd see if this is a good idea or if anyone has any alternative suggestions.

Thanks in advance
