For those of us who still use film cameras, especially Canon, Nikon, and other 70's & 80's SLRs getting good service on these cameras and lenses can be difficult especially at a reasonable price.

My Canon A1 had the popular "Battery Eating Complex" and the "Standard at no Additional Cost Mirror Squeak". John fixed both of these problems and while he had the camera down he checked the shutter timing, did a complete cleaning and lube job and replaced the foam light seals with german felt seals. All for about $100, and had the camera for less than 2 days.

I highly recommend this one man shop, John provides: Excellent Service; Reasonable Prices; and Honesty. If you need service on Film Cameras, or Lenses (No Digital or Video) give him a try.

I think so but I am not sure. I will check tomorrow and let you know. I will ask about both M6 and M3.

Repairmen like that are a vanishing breed. My dad was a watch repairman and they're a vanishing breed as well. It's good to know there's a craftsman out there who can keep those SLRs ticking.
