    Sunset on the River
    I shot these yesterday on my way home. I'm still trying to get these low light shots right, and probable will be for a while. Any info is much appreciated.

    I think you could brighten the foreground some in the second two. Do you use an ND grad? It would help bring out more detail in the foreground.

    That has been my biggest headache.Trying to get the proper exposure in the foreground without loosing the sky has proven to be a challenge, to say the least. I did not use a ND grad. I actually don't even own one. Looks like its time to buy some. Do you think a 2-stop ND would be a good place to start? Thanks for the help Greg.

    Greg's right but otherwise lovely scene.
    Did you try to lighten the shadows and/or darken highlights?

    A 2 stop is all I use. I would get one like the Cokin that can be adjusted to the scene. A screw on one divides the scene right in the middle which kills the rule of thirds.
