    Fall in the Tetons
It seems like forever since I posted some new photos. Here are a few from my trip to the Tetons earlier this month. It snowed on me almost every day and only saw the peaks of the mountains once the entire trip but I still had a blast. Here is a link to more images from the trip.

I like the first one from the top the most. A bold composition you've chosen considering the fact that the horizon line is almost halfway between the top and the bottom.

The third one is clear and sharp, too, but it doesn't have a very strong 3D feel to me. I'm wondering if it's because the foreground, middle and the background are nearly as bright as each other. Traditionally, I think people use different degree of brightness in a photo to give a sense of depth to a 2-dimensional picture. This particular one doesn't seem to have that very much. But it could just be my eyes fooling me though. You know, they're aging :)

Nevertheless, all very good images, Mike !

Thanks for looking and commenting AE.

Mahopac, yes and no on the moose. It was taken at Oxbow Bend, but not in the area by the road where everyone stops. It was taken in the backwaters behind Oxbow Bend. I spent 3 or 4 hours watching this bull, a cow and her calf one day.

Thanks for looking and commenting everyone.

Mike, I'm gonna try to make this trip again next fall but a lot can change between now and then.

By the way 2 of these images were taken with the G9. :)

Outstanding images! I have to make it back out west one more time before time catches up with me. Those mountains are truly gorgeous.
