Prints/ a still life

I spotted these at the end of my street...been there for year I guess.

this is neat, did you try other flash setups? the concrete/steps have a good amount of pop to them as is, just curious

No, i just shot them with natural light...yeah they do pop don't they. I didn't crop the grass and leaf to add a bit of color...you think that works??

for sure, adds a lot to it as does not having either item squared up to the frame (ie streak of grass running along the bottom)

This would probably be a fantastic candidate for a two layer treatment with the background set to "emboss" and the original overlayed on top. They'd really jump off the screen then :)

Thats a neat idea I will give it a try later.
