Re: providence shootout.
1. is sick. the light trails are just brilliant. there are so many different colors here... its amazing. and i like how you can see people who were sitting there but left mid exposure.
Did you get that new tripod?

Re: providence shootout.
All great shots. #1 is awesome, the shutter speed was perfect and the patterns/lines rock. Good compostion
#2 and #4
Great subject. I've always been a fan of light trails, and with fire, it's even better...I like fire.
#3
Good, but the moon bothers me, perhaps conceal it with the building, or make 2 exposures, one for the moon, one for the rest, and stack the two. (assuming that is the moon)

Thanks, I'll have to try a double exposure tonight.

Nah, I'm waiting to go back home for the Bogen, I just got a decent quantaray tripod. It's nice.

Thanks. To tell you the truth, I wasn't sure if any of them were even decent, but I guess they turned out well.

Re: providence shootout.
all very nicely taken shots IMO. The last one is the one that speaks the loudest to me and my favourite out of the bunch. I think it's a great shot that demands and holds my attention very well.

Re: providence shootout.
Congrats on the sticky. They're exciting . # 3 is my favorite. I wish it was wider (taller) still, but very interesting in that it shows the tradition and power of the architecture. # 1 is nice (and sharp), but I think I would have preferred that the camera tilt upward more, to show more of the building and less of the blank space (but I bet it was hard to tell if it would be blank). The twirler shots are fun, but I wish there was better supporting areas of light on the sides.
