    Has He Lost His Mind?
    The Monorail HDR
I was trying for a little surrealism, to make everything look "out of this world", since it was at the science center. So I tone-mapped it, and gave it a lot of modification.

Seattle, again, finally submitting it to PC.

Surreal it is. I really like the artistic fashion of this image. A totally abstract look and feel. I like the number 5 on the support . . . it tells alot. It indicates that there are many of these supports, and also provides for me a human element in the designation of a number for identification. Good work here.

Thank you. I'm quite fond for that number as well. :)

Thanks! I didn't expect that to be a sticky, I thought it was me just messing around.

Just wondering, do you still have the original pics? I think it'd be cool to see em. :D

This is good work, I love the pop of the colors; it looks like something out of
    a "sci-fi" channel. It's a dazzling image.

I really like the composition and the subject as well. I think I prefer the original. I find the hdr a bit confusing for some reason. I would also clone out the object on the far left about 2/3 the way up. Congrats on the feature.

Yep it is an amzing snap! I prefer the orginal because the colours seem more vibrant! And I think the 5 stops the support from becoming dull, and its also another point where your eye goes to!

Hi, I don't know if you're aware or not, but CS2 has an HDR plugin built-in. You might want to look into that with CS.

I've tried Adobe Bridge and the tone mapping program built into CS/Bridge, but I like the simplicity and feel of Photomatix.
