Hyperdrive SPACE - image storage

I was walking through the booths, so <i>many</i> booths, and came across this.

What impressed me was the speed, 1GB in a minute.

My existing device works, but has a few shortcomings. It doesn't tell me a copy has succeeded, it doesn't warn me if I'm trying to copy the same card again, it doesn't display the previous screen after auto-power-off.

This box from sanho does all of that. It may not be new to you, but there's no distributor in the UK so I hadn't come across it before.

Plus the ability to backup at 20MB/s to the hard drive.

Oh and a battery capacity over twice my current unit at 2200mAh, or in their calculation 100GB of copying. Now to me that's fantastic, the box in my pocket will only copy 12-16GB before the battery's flat.

Unlike my first device manufacturer, they have a web presence with firmware downloads and ongoing support.

Another "I want one of those" moments at the show.

That's turned into a "where can I buy one" and the answer is shop online at their website.

As soon as I get back to the UK I'll order one and let you know how I get on with it.
