it depends on your needs and budget. There are some free online tools available, such as GIMP or PIXLR. In case you are ready to spend some money on the necessary stuff, you may try popular software.
As for me, I've got an experience of working with Photoshop and Luminar. Both are good. You may have a look and choose what is more suitable for your tasks. FYI

The artistic Cloud version is not any totally different from the absolutely purchased version. In fact, within the interim here I upgraded to the total suite and is sort of a dream come back true!

Your use case would be trivially handled by Photoshop CC.

As others have mentioned, there is no best software. Which is also the reason why there are many options on the market for you to choose from.

The popular ones have already been mentioned. Most software offers free trial for you to decide if you like them. Some requires you to pay a subscription and some (or should I say most) requires only a one time payment. Each has it's own advantages and disadvantages.

Personally, I use Lightroom and Photoshop for organizing and post-processing. It suits me and I'm happy :)

<style type="text/css"><!--td {border: 1px solid #ccc;}br {mso-data-placement:same-cell;}--></style>Take pictures of products should always be from one angle and distance. To fix the distance it is best to use a tripod (of course, and a professional camera). How to process photos for an online store? Today we all have at least a superficial idea of working with graphic editors such as Lightroom, Gimp, Picasa, Adobe Photoshop, ACDSee, etc. More information here https://thinkmobiles.com/blog/best-shopify-development-companies/

As far as I know, many of you use really cool programs that are definitely worth buying, and many use the PDF format, because it is really convenient. So, I want to combine business with pleasure and provide you with an excellent version of the program from the famous company Movavi, which is not only free, but also contains useful tips when working with it. It's about https://pdf.movavi.com/how-to-rotate-pdf-files.html. What are its main advantages:
    PDF creation from scratch
Different PDF-editing modes (4-in-1 page arrangement,
    text editing, and object editing)
    Ready-to-use legal form templates
    Electronic signature solutions
One-click file export and print output.
As for me - nothing more!

    Hi guys,
Back into photography, choosing between programs to edit/crop etc. I have used Lightroom trial and Gimp back in time and I've been thinking whether it's time to purchase a full license. What else you can recommend apart from Lightroom? Should I subscribe to PS instead?
I'm not a total newb, just taking shots from time to time so you can consider me an amateur.

Immediately after reinstalling the operating system, or just once a month, you need to update the drivers, since new versions are released from time to time. There are at least two options to update drivers - manual and automatic. The first option to update the drivers on your computer is to find and download the latest versions from the manufacturers' official websites yourself. Then install them. This option is quite long and difficult. Another option is to use a special driver updater program. Such software automatically scans the computer, then goes to the official websites of the manufacturers and checks if there are updates for your drivers. If there are updates, then you just have to confirm the intention to download. You don't have to download anything yourself.

I am glad to welcome you, if you also work in the field of software development, then you probably know how many nuances there are in this work. I don't always have enough time to test the finished product. In this case, I only trust those who know everything about testing. Automated performance testing is exactly what you need in order for your product to be perfect.
