Interactive Photo Mosaic Question

I am not sure this is the correct forum category, but it has do with post processing and showcasing your photos, so hopefully someone has some insight...

I am trying to build a flash based interactive photo gallery that will display my work in a unique and creative way. The photo mosaic concept seemed to fit in perfect with what I am trying to accomplish. Picture Mosaics has a very unique interactive interface that I would love to reproduce on my site; here is a link to the interactive mosaic page (be sure to check out the Lonely Planet Mosaic and MeowMosaic…very cool stuff!):

Has anyone had any experience creating something similar to any of these examples? I would to have something like this on my site…what a great photo gallery it could be! Any feedback or direction would be great.

I've never used it but wanted to let you know that this is the more appropriate place for your question and that I have deleted it from the 'photo project' forum, which is for monthly projects.
Hope you'll get a good answer and maybe even post some pics in the project forum or elsewhere.

I haven't used that one but I have used Flash Nifties (www.flashnifties.com). There's good and bad things about Nifties, a few bugs the fellow hasn't solved, limits all thumbnails to the same size, etc. But it's inexpensive and definitely worth the price.
