Just a note here folks that I recently purchased Topaz Remask 3, and that it really works really really great for what I do. I got it on special for $49.

Note that I used Fluid Mask before and although it is powerful and works well most of the time, it struggles with low contrast scenes, where the subject's color and/or density is almost the same as the background. They ALL have this problem actually, but Remask provides manual capabilities which at least give you the capability to correct it... I couldn't for the life of me get Fluid Mask to allow me to manually edit the mask area (it's possible such a control was there, but I just could not figure it out).

Anyway, from now forward, Remask it is!
