    LR 4.1 update
I posted this in the release candidate thread but got no replies. I figured I'd make a new post in case people saw that thread get updated and just assumed it was a question about the RC and not the update. I just got a prompt that 4.1 is released and it wanted me to download it. I held off having seen the issues reported in the RC thread previously. Anyone know if the problems with the RC's have been fixed, or did they persist through to release?

I'm in the same boat, waiting to hear some good news before updating

I didn't see any of those issues in the RC

But my test machine is a pitiful Lenovo S10 that barely runs a web browser.
I have to use that as it's the only Windows 7 machine I have, takes a day to export 1000 full resolution jpgs so it is hardly useful for speed tests.
It is so slow that painting the corrections is impossible.

So I can't say much until I get a new machine that can run Windows 7.
Or upgrade my desktop hardware to make it Win7 capable.

Hmm well hopefully someone around here can chime in on if those problems have been fixed in the final release. I just tried to go look at the forums on Adobe's site and apparently they have revamped them. It wasn't a good upgrade. Their new forum format is horrible.

I've posted an answer on the RC2 thread, sorry for taking a while to respond, I don't get e-mail notifications from this site for some reason. Anyway, short version of the answer: the problems I observed in RC2 (the banding/striping issue in high contrast areas when applying lens corrections) are gone from the final version. So as far as I can tell, good to go!

Awesome! Thanks for the update. I'll be applying the patch as soon as I get home then :)
