Help please.

I don't know where to post this so I apologize if it's in the wrong section. I want to blowup this picture for a poster and a t-shirt iron on. Every time I do it gets blurry. Is there anything I can do? Thanks in advance.

No, you won't be able to get it up-sized that much. You will have to get the original (with permission since it is owned by that person/company). - TF

Don't think that this image can be enlarged, it is a very poor quality to begin with, with jpeg artifacts showing. Copyright issues aside, the image itself could be easily reconstructed in any graphic software including drawing module of MS Word

As said by the others, there's nothing you can do to enlarge such a small image file (bitmap) to what you need. You need the original which was probably much bigger (since creating snowflakes etc so small would be such a chore).

As Taraboom says, re-creating it would not be that difficult: the snowflakes are the hardest part, but I am guessing the entire job would take no more than 2 hrs. I would encourage you to first get the artist's permission.

Still after a few years after this post there is really not much in software that can blowup a photo without losing quality =/

Not so much losing it, there are fractal techniques to upscale images quite well, but if the quality isn't there to begin with then you can't add it so you make a bad small image into a bad big image.

You can use the PICRESIZE software, its a online version, from where you can enlarge the original picture. Defiantly there ll b a affect, but it works really fine.
