    D90 software vs. Photoshop Elements
I am new to this forum. I am tired of googling around about the software, I thought i would just register and get on here and ask! I just upgraded from the D80 to D90 today. I was using just Photoshop Elements before. Should I download the software that comes with the D90 or just have Elements?

I do NOT shoot in RAW. I am just a beginner photographer...for about 2 1/2 years with the D80, took some classes, but not really figuring out the right settings.......but I sure look good at my kids' activities holding an expensive camera!!! HAHAHA!!

    Please help!

No harm in having both. If you ever do start shooting raw, you may need a plug-in for elements. Which version do you have?
And welcome to the forums. We have beginners to pros and lots of advanced amateurs.
Ask questions even you think they might be dumb ones because there are a lot of very helpful people here and sometimes the questions you ask, help other people too.
We get lots of editing threads so do some searching and/or asking and someone can help you with editing and maybe that not real good shot has a lot of potential.

I don't think there is much you can do with the Nikon software.
Personally, I lost my Nikon software and have been using elements 6 and have started trying to do some stuff with Nikon NX2 now.
