I've been manually geo tagging my photos for years. Is there software that will automate the process? I use a Garmin eTrex Legend, and it would seem a fairly simple thing to compare the downloaded tracks with time stamp in the exif data of photos in a directory, then write the location to the iptc field. There seem to be a number of proprietary hardware/software combinations, but it should be easier than that. Half an hour on Google has made my eyes spin. What are you using? How do you do it?
