    November project: Light or fLights

    Having had a couple of friendly reminders I figure I better get this started.
    I've been going through the suggestion list and there are good ideas. I may not use the specific theme but do broaden or narrow them to try to include as many levels and interests as possible.
    Light or Lights covers a broad spectrum including natural or artifical, ugly or beautiful.
    Be creative and have fun.

    I'm also trying hard to get this featured photo update to happen regularly but there seems to be a communication problem at one end or the other.

    uhm....to avoid cconfusion the f is a typo and its Light or Lights....not fLights

    Let's start off with some natural light ...

    This maternity shot still remains a favourite of mine





    ... and some rim light



    Then ... let's mix natural light with off camera flash







    and finally ... back to the studio lol

    Here a recent photo of mine from a nearby pond. When I got up that morning I wasn't planning on going out to shoot but then I saw these great clouds setting up nicely for the approaching sunrise. So I just went to this favorite reflecting pond near my house and shot for a bit before I had to go to work. The snow in the grass from the night before added some nice texture and just as I was taking the photo the duck landed right there.
