Re: October Photo Project: Landscapes
Frog, my shots were taken in the countryside around Clintonville, Wisconsin.
Re: October Photo Project: Landscapes
Alison,
That is a very cute photo. Gets my vote for PotM.
Greg,
Don't worry. We don't bite around here. Well, at least I don't, and I have had all my shots. LOL
Your first shot is very interesting, but watch the highlights. You lose a little detail in some of the rocks, or at least it appears that way on my machine. I really like the second shot, but I wish there were much sharper. The third and fourth shots are also neat.

Re: October Photo Project: Landscapes
I've got a bunch of older landscapes lying around. Is there an understanding that we are showing our recent work here, or should I post a few such as these? It shouldn't be too hard to guess where some of them were taken.

Lots of very nice landscapes but I have to admit that Alison's takes the cake even if its not technically a landscape.
Here's a small landscape from the weekend...

Pulled these from my files (some are many years old) - hope you don't mind.
These are from my "human intervention" series. And that is not digital noise - that's film grain  :p
BTW, in the last shot, there is a crazy nut of a rock climber in it - perhaps tough to see at this resolution.

...and my last for this project.
This time, no human intervention (still film though :p )

It really messes them up downsizing them, doesn't it?

This must be some local tradition that we were not aware of. Does it account for the scarcity of boats in the Pass?
