Xia_Ke, AgingEyes, Frog, OldSchool - thanks for the comments.
Here's one from yesterday. Actually two of the same scene - didn't have a strong preference for either so I'm posting both :p

Nice find Loupey. Very creative. I know this isn't photo critique, but you posted 2 images without much preference. So, I'll throw in my 0.02.
I like the 2nd one, and here is why....
The background is interesting, yet doesn't detract from your subjects. The colors are complementary. I like the composition of the subjects. Because you stepped back and used less of a wide-angle, this helps balance out the proportions between the feeders. The center of focus is on the middle feeder giving nice sharp texture to the rope. The depth of field works well too.
Hey, a little more than usual... Nice shots.
Cheers,
Tim

I'm not sure if this would fit the topic or not. I'll try something else later when the sun comes out.

AgingEyes, that is pretty neat. The lighting and shadows are perfect.
My 16 month old daughter looked up at the computer when I was reading this post, pointed and said "ditty!" (kitty). She liked it too! :)

this one was pretty still and pleased me.:)
Re: March Project: Found Still Life
That is a great shot. Is it the rebar that would go inside of a circular cement column?
Re: March Project: Found Still Life
thx dano..I assume that is what it is..shot with a fisheye ..leveled
..and dano..I like the angles , architecture and colors of your pic. I think you can increase the levels slightly though.".adobe..layer..levels".. and bring out the colors more.

Shot in the hotel room, waiting for my luggage to be picked up. (Hotel is in Mexico... explains the bold patterns and colors.)

Quick shot while wandering around Harvre de Grace. This is the oldest still-in-service lighthouse in the country. It is automated now. Though hard to tell, it is very close to the water.
