Another entry, I made this window several years ago.
It is in our Sunday School room.
Neil Diamond's movie "The Jazz Singer" has a song "Jerusalem"
and the words were the inspiration for the design.

hrrrmmm, wanted to add these. Sort of ambiguously 'window' themed as you can't see the frame, but this is a reflection from mirror tinted windows - like my previous shot.

Earlier this year I returned to Japan to pay my respects to my two uncles who were very ill. They are my mother’s only brothers and each had no children to carry on the family name.

This photo of a part of the family home - passed on to the oldest son of each generation and parts of which are approximately two centuries old - was taken on the day I left. The house was home to numerous generations including my great grandfather, the last samurai in the family.

Both uncles passed away a short time later. The fate of the home, farmland, and bamboo forest remains uncertain.

Something in this photo I find immensely humorous. I can't even put my finger on quite what it is. I mean, the backside of 3 humans plus a dog, and the faceless photographer, shining back in the mirror tint of a large building. Something is so aloof here.

    Fantastic.
