One of my earliest DOF experiments, fall 1980 at Chewacla State Park near Auburn, Alabama, on Kodachrome, taken with a Voigtlander Vitessa folding rangefinder with a 50mm f:2 lens.
Much more recently, woods along a trail in Falling Waters State Park in Florida. This is one of my all-time "tree" pictures. I like to ask people if they see trees or a forest. D7000, 18-55 at 22mm. 1/125 shutter-priority yielded f:14.
Taken with a Sony 5-MP point-and-shoot while traveling. The Suwannee River from the US 19 bridge in Fanning Springs, Florida.
In the spirit of the project forum being an assignment rather than a dive-through-the-archives activity, I'll see what I can find out there.
