Tim, are those solar panels? If so what for? Very cool and intriguing shot.

Wow! First day for this project - and you guys and gals are really finding some creative shots! I didn't realize "patterns" would be so interesting and diverse.

Yes, those are PV panels from a 11 MW farm in Portugal. I started working for a solar power company a few months ago:

no no.. not MW.. lol.. milliwatts.. Just enough to burn things and pop balloons and make some pretty neat laser effects.

Its a handheld unit from lucentoptics.com model 100-120mw

Ok, here's one from me.

One from this weekend.

The Great Court in the British Museum a couple of days ago .. the sun shining through the glass ceiling, casting shadows on the wall of the Reading Room. The lion is 3rd C BC.
