July Project: A day in your life
Borrowing Loupey's suggestion.
quote:
"How about simply "a day in your life
A single shot taken that day. Would keep the images current (obviously) and may provide an opportunity to share some personal aspect of one's life. Or not."
Please do make them current but I'm not going to look at exif data to make sure.
Thank you, Loupey.

Great idea, sounds wonderful.

Re: July Project: A day in your life
Frog - this is a fun project. It is also one that will be motivating for some people (me) to go out and shoot - even if the weather isn't perfect or the subjects have to be found close to home.
Thanks!

Re: July Project: A day in your life
This is Puggy, he is a Puggle (pug beagle mix). He greets me at the door every day. Happy to see his master come home. A dog with a personality far from any I have ever had. A day in my life would not be complete without him.

July 1:
Work uneventful. Came home to burgers on the grill made by my daughter. The wife dropped the kids off at the theater. With two hours before sunset, I headed for the lake for a quick kayak trip. Caught two dozen white bass in the process.
Drinking coffee now.
All in all a pretty nice day :)

That's a lot of work and effort - good for you!
I haven't put that much effort in getting a shot. I'm an opportunistic shooter :p

Awesome shot here, so colorful. Maybe I've been in the desert areas too long?

One of the biggest parts of my day is my job. I hate my job. I hate it so bad you can't imagine the thoughts going through my mind will working. But until the economy pics up I will have to dodge the bullet.
Taken today, the 4th of July after working a 12 hour shift.
So here is work.

Tyson, years ago I worked in a bearing factory. The oil clinged in the air and I could smell it on me for days into my vacations. My clothes and car always had that oily smell too.
My heart goes out to you.

Shot two days ago on the 4th. After a day of "celebrating" as my buddy and I were supposed to be monitoring the kids swimming in a pool. A moment later, my son came over and poured ice water on my chest.

When I first started working there I noticed everyone one had the same bad breath, I don't notice it anymore. I joined them, I am doing everything to get a new job and get out of there.

My daughter and I watched the sun set over the lake this evening. I showed her how to pursue schools of white bass with her kayak. She promptly outfished me (beginners luck :) ).
The water was clear and had no temperature.

Tyson - Thank you.
Another water shot (so hot here that it is difficult to do anything else outside right now). My faithful dog and I went kayaking and swimming tonight.

Re: July Project: A day in your life
We went to a farm show and besides the usual tractors, vintage cars, trucks and animals that were there we spotted this old man with an extremely old camera. I couldn't resist asking him if he minded me taking his picture :D
He reminded me so much of my Dad, and I couldn't help wishing that my Dad was still alive and walking round the farm show with me. He had a passion for photography too!
