Thanks Liz, Thanks Alison :) They're each one of my nephews. The sunset is my brother's son in Michigan. The autumn one is my sister's son from a walk in the forest preserve.

An emaciated back of a dying frog sitting on what was once the bottom of a healthy and productive wetland area.
I estimated that the frog would be dead within 24 to 48 hours of this shot.

Whoops, didn't mean to kill this thread :rolleyes:
But here's another. The result when several acres of wetlands dwindles to a mud puddle just 2 meters in diameter. What tadpoles, fish, and frogs that survived the onslaught of shorebirds eventually succumbed to the sun.
Not a single tadpole nor fish made it out alive.
Now back to your regularly scheduled programming.
