First one is my fav of all time, I call it counting angels (just wish I had a better lens for the shot) and it won photo of the day on picture.com for what its worth, the second is from my freelance gig of a major fire in Terre Haute Indiana early last year.

Wow! That first one is awesome. Great composition, color, sharp - I don't think a better lens could have done a better job - it's the photographer!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you Liz for your comments I waited and waited for them to line up for that photo, and then it happened, and with a little luck involved it turned out. (this was the age of auto for me, since I had yet to figure out manual settings). You made my day by saying that.

Great lava lamp stuff, looks like something you'd see in a modern art museum. It looks like something you could do with adobe illustrator (I'm sure it's not but looks like it).
Re: January Photo Project: Open
I don't even know what adobe illustrator is... haha.
But thank you for the compliment. Much appreciated :)

AE, I like this shot how the clouds and sun all seem to work together, also how you left in the mountains to allow us to know the landscape along with the scope of what the sky really looks like. Good shot, maybe a tad dark, but I give it a thumbs up.

Thanks for the thumbs up!
When I looked at it in PS, the photo looked a bit brighter and the colors also a bit different. So, something happened and I'm not sure what it was.
