    February Photo Project: Lanscapes
I know this is a challenging subject for February, but I think it is a good one. I have had the bug for it for a while now, and now that I have a wide enough lens to really get some nice ones I have been out playing with it. So lets see what you guys can come up with for...

    Wow,

Very strong image Ali, The angles couldn't be better. I love how the fence grabs me at the corner and just pulls me in. Good eye on this one. And that sky, wow, great detail!

Wow all! There are some nice landscapes submitted here. Thanks.

Landscapes are something I'm attracted to. I feel that I can never capture the beauty that my eyes see and my heart feels... But, I try.

I'll post a series for the challenge. I hope it's Ok that I go back in time. I'll start with a recent trip to Mt. Rainier last summer.

    Thanks for looking,
    Tim

Shooting this evening was particularly challenging because of the overcast conditions. I had to wait good periods for the sun to finally show. It payed off here. This shot is farther up the hill.

I have always found your landscapes to be very pleasing, Larry. They always have something to them, that thing that sets them apart from the typical. Like the tree in this scene. Very well seen and captured.

Wow! What a great thread. Do you mind if I march in with some pictures I took with my P&S Powershot A620 last summer? Those 2 were taken in Austria. They have no Photoshop or anything else addes, as I don't know anything about editing. I hope they are not that bad.

    Hey Thanks,

I like your pier and waterfall submissions a lot. You have a nice touch with the longer exposures.
