Hi all ... here is my little contribution to this month's project. It's called "Feet" and is a play on the word "feet" in the quote. This image appeared initially on the critique forum, but this is the tweaked (and final) version.

    Cheers

    almo,

Did you take this through Glass? I have tried several times with little or no success. I like the way the fish looks like its just floating in air. Nice BW photo.

    LOL...

I love it when people ask that. If I didn't then my camera would be really wet :p

Yeah it's trough glass. All of my fish pics are through glass. Keep at it. It can be tricky, but the results can be outstanding!

The new lens and a rough period of weather has really narrowed my shooting options lately. I'm trying to get the hang of this macro thing before all the lil creepy things come out. So, sorry about all the flora. Here's some of my Gerber daisies and marigold (perhaps sunflower of some variety) that recently bloomed.

I took this during a recent Ice storm. I converted to BW but it is not much different than the original. It was a very gray day.

Whenever i read up on a particular project i just love to let go of all the regular ways of looking at things and try to find something different...

My home lights are not that good for the moment, so after a bit of playing around, i was able to get something in B&W...this is in color.....as shot, except for the levels and a final crop...

I figured is the theme was b&w doesn't mean it is shot as greyscale or transformed into one (as my napoleon) but rather expressing b&w....so here's a piece of paper on a pillow....

I will fooling around with this tomorrow at work (havin a slow day hehehe:D)

Here's a shot I took a long, long time ago. I wanted my daughter to stand out, so I dropped all the hues and saturation except the red of her hat. It loses a lot from having to reimage the size though.

I took my Canonet for a walk downtown on President's Day loaded with a roll of Plus-X. These are all underexposed by about a stop, because of the light meter being off.

    3. I liked the patterns in these buildings.
