    August project EMOTION

Capture emotion and/or emotion evoking images.

And be prepared for an early announcement of Septembers project because it will put your skills to the test. Just have to figure out some of the details yet.

    Re: August project EMOTION

This year my son lost a team mate due to a head injury sustained on the field during a spring scrimmage. This is a poster I made for the Coach and hangs in the locker room and inside Dylan's locker.

I'm not sure this totally fits the theme, but evokes more emotion from me then I care to think about. Every player now wears Dylan's number on the back of their helmets. Both of these shots were taken six days after Dylan passed. The B&W was prayer for Dylan and the color portion is the head coach's hand and getting ready to take the field since the passing of their Brother.

    It's not blurry. It's bokeh.

    Thank you, Julie!

Your poster is a work of Art. It is a beautiful tribute to this young man! The image exudes Emotion! It is not just about one member of the team. It is about all these young boys, their LOVE and support; their courage and grief, and their team spirit bringing them together as one. It is an expression from your own heart, Julie. I think all who view this image will be moved.

I don't generally like to post old photos for the projects, but I came across this image while going through one of my folders and thought it fit will with this months project.

    Erikzen -

Very nice image! Did you get this with the 9-18? The composition is right on - and the expression is priceless!

Love - Look at the love in her face for her Daddy.

Sisterly Love - One of my older daughters hugs my baby girl while she sleeps.

    Happiness - Giggles with Daddy.

Being Silly - I usually make it a point of letting them have a silly picture taken after the sensible one. It's usually a good deal for guaranteeing a nice picture. Sometimes the silly picture turns out to be the best one lol

    August project EMOTION-img_9709_640c.jpg

Emotions - Sometimes I think the best pictures to evoke a lot of emotions in the viewer are the images that tell a story without showing the face. Not an easy task.
