It is great that we are getting so much variety.
    Good job, everyone.
Now, if I can only get the selected featured photo from last month to show up

My good buddy Lucious...He is the nicest...american staffordshire terrier...ALL puppy at heart, wonderful around kids.

BUT there is another side to this breed...a very serious side...when provoked or threatened.
    He's bad-2-the-bone.

Ooh, the frog decoration above reminded me of a frog I caught some time back. This little guy is less than a half an inch!

I'll stick a reptile in here, too, a Green Anole. I've posted this one before, somewhere in the Nature board.

That frog looks like it came out a bit early, wfooshee!

I hoped for a lot variety this month and we are sure getting it.
    Good job all!

Not the best shot and it's not my dog, but it's still an animal :)

I have a feeling it can out-run quite a few of us.

One of the cats next door.

Can somebody tell if it's an old cat? Somebody (not the owner) said so but I can't tell.

He looks old to me....fur is a bit dull and scruffy, not sitting up and alert..not definite but does look old.

    Nice shot!

You didn't say they had to be alive !
Juvenile herring gull, one less flying rat mugging tourists, lost out to car on the harbour front.

Cute kitten (Fudge) at Badgers Holt, looking for attention.
Didn't jump up until asked, and didn't try to beg, or scrounge of the plate.
Well trained? Not sure, certainly very well behaved.
To the point of going to sleep in Angie's arms.

Two kinds of animals today! I was shooting these . . .

    . . . when I heard a faint splash near my feet.

I'd been leaning on the fence seen in this image:

There was something in the grass that he wanted ....

Haven't photographed any real nature/wildlife images for a long time.

But these are from a "safari" in Ohio :)
Shot in July and not August :(
