What happened to the 'Select All' optiong in Photoshop?
I was using Photoshop 7.0 until recently. Now I have CS2 and seem to have lost the Select All function.

Before, with the rectangular marquu tool, I could right click and select all. That is now gone, and I can't seem to find it.

    Any help is greatly appreciate!!!

Key commands are the way to go. If you're using Windows, just type Ctrl + A to select all.

Check the Photoshop manual for all the key commands. They're either listed at the beginning or the end of the book. I use tons of key commands. I love them. They allow you to really increase your Photoshop speed because you can be working the mouse in one hand and the key commands with the other.

Here are some I use all the time:
    Ctrl + 0 = Fill screen
    Ctrl + Alt + 0 = Go to 100%
    Ctrl + + = Zoom in
    Ctrl + - = Zoom out
    Ctrl + Z = undo
    Ctrl + D = deselect

And all the tools have one letter key commands you can use to select them. If you hover over a tool it will display the key command. For instance, all you have to do is type "M" to switch to the marquee tool. The lasso tool is "L". The gradient tool is "G". The crop tool is "C." Key commands are also displayed next to each tool in the menus at the top of the page. Start using them and you will be a better Photoshop user.

    Ctrl-Z is my favorite! :D

One thing I found really great about key comands is that I can get rid of all my pallets on my screen, and just have my image take up the entire monitor. I was playing around with some stuff at work, and found that it really helped speed things up. Of course this only works if you know all the comands you need for the task at hand. I was only using a few of them to select the tools I needed for that project. Most of the time, I keep my tool bar handy. :)

    Ctrl + S = SAVE

That's one you should be using ten times as much as any other...

WOW - thanks!!! I'll have to get my hands on a CS2 manual... maybe ebay will have one. I have my license through work - so I didn't get a manual... off to get one now. I've already used Ctrl A, Ctrl + Alt + 0 and Ctrl + Z = undo

    THANKS!!!!!!!!

I swear, CS2 has soooo many shortcuts my mind fried when I tried to remember them! I've started trying to remember 3-4 each time I sit down and play with it. My favs are X while in Quick Mask mode, CTRL + ALT + Z, and CTRL + S

Ctrl + S can be dangerous. Gotta watch that one. I use it habitually and every once in a while I save over something I didn't want to can can't go back.
