    Tutorials for Elements 5.0
Does anyone know where I can see animated tutorials online for Elements 5.0.
I'm pretty new to photoshop and I'm having a heck of a time figureing out some stuff.
Like how can I remove a blemish on skin...

I have to upgrade to CS2 for school in a month so I'd like to try to get a handle on this one before taking them step up.

Elements videos? Sure, there's quite a few. Free Elements videos, now that's another matter entirely. Needle in a haystack kind of stuff.

Actually, I don't recommend videos for learning. I recommend books. For someone completely new to the software, I'd recommend Photoshop Elements 5 For Dummies by Barbara Obermeier, Ted Padova. MSRP is $24.99, but you can probably find it cheaper if you have a used bookstore around.

When I first started in Photoshop, I bought Photoshop 6 for Dummies (yeah, it's been awhile since I first started.....) The book gives a good overview of the tools, what they do, and how to use them. It also covers things like layers, channels, and blend modes. It explains everything in layman's terms, using a method that is both straightforward and easy to understand.

I'll be happy to answer any Photoshop questions you have, when you get to that point. But I've never used Elements, so I don't think I can be much help there.
