This is probably a stupid question for the PS experts out there, but I'm completely ignorant with PS. I've used PS 6.0 a little to do basic contrast and brightness adjustments, cropping, dodging and burning. That's all.

I recently got a new scanner that came with PS Elements 2.0. Can anyone tell me if it has any useful features that PS 6.0 doesn't have? Is it even worth installing, when I can use PS 6.0?

Right now I only use it for scanned film images, but I will be getting a digital camera eventually. I also plan to get a book or something so I can actually learn the software...which is part of why I'm asking. I don't know which one I should start with.
