Software to create slideshow screensaver?

I'd like to make a screensaver of some of my photos to put on friends'/family/clients' computers, I don't want to reveal the source photos, I'd just like to make a slideshow and then save it as a .scr (screensaver)

Preferably open source.

Any suggestions?

I haven't created a screensaver in years. I used to use a neat piece of software called 'Slideshow to go.' I have no idea if it's still available, or supported, but it was straightforward, powerful, and inexpensive shareware.
