RAW conversion

Can anyone recommend a good RAW file conversion programme please? Not liking using the Photoshop ELements programme to convert these files!

Lightroom, don't convert but work in RAW until you produce the finished output

Lightroom, cheers. So you're saying work on light, levels etc in RAW and then convert to crop and print? Thanks for your help

Exactly.
It also allows you to do red eye fixing, small area spot clone and healing, and in version 2 graduated level adjustment and retouching brush.

For the Mac, Aperture does similar things.
