I've got a question for all you PS users, and hopefully this will all make sense. The background scenario is I work for an internet based company selling dog products, and I do a lot of the product photography. Since we have a few different image sizes we post on the web, I have actions that will save one size to the LG folder, one size to the Icons folder, and one size to the Swatches folder.
Here is a screenshot of the folder that the images are saved to, and the end result of the images. After the images in the LG, Icons, and Swatches folder get renamed, they get moved to the folder where the Jpegs you see are, and then uploaded for the web.
When I have a lot of images, its a pain to go through PS's file browser and batch rename them adding in the -ICON or the -LG to the end of the file name. Is there a way that I could tell PS that when it sees an image in say the LG folder, it will automatically rename it and move it to a different folder? Now I'm having to do all the moving manually and I'm tryin to tweak my process so I can get stuff done faster. Thanks!
