Shooting RAW with PSE6

Okay, I need some serious detailed help on this subject. I hope I can explain what I'm trying to do without babbling too much.

I want to try shooting in RAW. Okay, I know how to do that with my Pentax K10D. But now what? I have upload the photos to my PSE6 software but can't find them. Is there a step I'm missing? Help, help, help, and the more detailed the better.

Go to the adobe support web site and download the RAW converter.

I shoot raw AND use PE6. I think the update is 4.2.
I love editing pics in RAW compared to JPEG.
I totally bombed out with the updates to Windows that were supposed to support RAW to look through them in the gallery.

The latest camera Raw update for PSE6 is version 4.4.1

As an alternative, you could shoot in the K10D's DNG format, which has been supported by every version of Camera raw since 2.4. However, there have been problems in the past with converting the K10D's DNG format, particularly in the area of White Balance. Wether or not those problems have been fixed, I couldn't say.
