    Photo paper
For you photographers that print your own photos from an inkjet printer, which brand and type of paper do you recommend? I've used HP Premium Plus in the past, but it's so spendy.

    Thanks

Personally, I prefer HP Premium Photo Paper (a step down from Plus), which I have found at Sam's at a reasonable $20 for 150 sheets, 8.5x11. I do my own cutting down to whatever size I want.

Wow Rocket, that's a pretty good deal. I just checked our local WalMart and they want $25 for 50 sheets, the same as HP's website.

I just checked out Sam's again, and now it $30 for 150 8.5x11 sheets. Still not bad...

When I make my own prints, I usually use Epson photo paper since they are one of the few brands I can find in the size I want (11x14). The stuff isn't cheap, but it is very good.

I just picked up a pack of the Kodak Premium paper and have been pretty impressed with the results on my Canon 900i. I haven't tried the Ultra Premium yet though.

I've been using Ilford Galerie Classic, both gloss and pearl with good results.
Takes a good sharpie signature too, when Angie gets to the drivers/riders.

I decided to let Mpix do my printing for me. Their prints should outlast me. I've learned that dye based printers, which mine are, do not have near the archival quality of pigment based printers. I have my HP 4 X 6 photo printer for a few small prints now and then, which does an excellent job.
