PDA Photo Data Input

For a number of years, actually, since the advent of the PDA, I have been asking and wondering if there was some type of software available for inputting field exposure data. Just as I use a paper form or notes now, I would love to be able to use a palm device to input shutter speed, f stop, filter #'s and call up filter factors and other data, (hyperfocal computation etc) all from a handheld running the appropriate software. Am I just daydreaming or is there such an animal roaming the halls of the photographers wish list auditorium?

A quick check at freewarepalm.com brings up this one. It doesn't do everything you're looking for but you can't beat the price. :)

Of course, with digital you wouldn't need such software. But crotograph isn't interested in digital and that's fine. It's great that someone wrote the software. I have a Treo 600 and got ACDSee palm software so that I can carry a little portfolio of photos on my phone/PDA. It's very cool. I always have it with me and people like looking at them. There's a desktop application that allows you to choose photos and they get copied to the handheld every time you sync.
