Who uses this software? How do you like it? Does it have any HDR tools?

Do a search on this forum. There has been some discussion about Aperture and how it compares to Adobe Lightroom. Sebastian has been using it, I believe. I would be surprised if it has any HDR tools, though. HDR requires layers (I think), and Lightroom doesn't have layers. There are some specialized HDR software packages, though. I don't know any names. But they do exist.

Thanks for the reply John. I'm already aware of what HDR is...I was just more curious about Apertures capabilities.

Aperture doesn't have layers either. It has stacks, but the stacks are just copies, per se, of the original file. Aperture is a good program. You really need a lot of Ram to make it work properly. Otherwise you'll be seeing the spinning rainbow a lot. Lightroom is good too. I think Aperture is more intuitive, but Lightroom has some really good features as well. It really depends upon your workflow. If management is more important, then I'd go with Aperture. If ease of use is, then Lightroom.
