Lost Pictures from SD Card Help!

I accidentally erased a bunch of pics from my SD card in my Canon SD400, using the camera, and then I took 9 more pics.

Can I recover the pics?

How? :(

There are file recovery programs, as long as the camera did not overwrite any of the deleted photos they can be recovered with a undelete program or by "ImageRescue" which came on the Lexar Compact Flash cards I had purchased. The "ImageRescue" even recovered images from a formated card. To use these programs you need a card reader.
