    IRES and Phojo

Something that I would like to try out, if I had an editor waiting for my photos

I dunno. it's an interesting concept, but not one I personally would be particularly interested in. Like photography itself, much of the image editing depends on the eye of the editor, and I think I'd be unhappy giving up that creative aspect.

Now, if they could match an editor to a photographer, and give them time to learn his tastes and style.......

    I agree, it's a big IF.
But if I was working to a deadline, and I had enough skill to get it right in-camera, and the editor was ready and waiting, then I can see this is a solution that is simple enough for a photographer to use almost without worrying about it.
Potentially cheaper than the Canon and Nikon systems, and with idruna providing the servers instead of you having to make your own network infrastructure, I can see the attraction for those working alone.
Get in range of a WiFi hotspot, and send all your picks.
You can even do crops and colour adjustment - though a handheld PC is hardly a calibrated workstation !

This looks really interesting. It is something I would have used in a past job assignment to relay information and intel to a command post. BUT as always, just to late for me, but a neat toy of those who may need it now.

Yes, they list the military applications and even have a special military caption mode.
